Understanding Industry Buying Streaks

An industry buying streak occurs when insiders across an entire industry are net buyers for multiple consecutive months. Unlike individual insider trades, streaks aggregate activity across many companies to reveal broad industry-level sentiment.

A streak of 3+ months suggests sustained conviction. Streaks of 6 or more months (highlighted in green) are particularly noteworthy — they indicate that insiders across the industry consistently see value over an extended period, even as market conditions change.

Use streaks as a starting point for sector research. When an industry shows a long buying streak, it may be worth investigating individual companies within that industry for specific opportunities.
